UpTown Parking
UpTown Waterloo is a unique and flourishing location with plenty to offer patrons and visitors alike. The good news is there is plenty of parking available in the city’s core. On-street parking regulations permit FREE time-controlled parking for durations of one, two or three hours depending on the location. On-street signage provides users with time-control limits, however, on-street parking is not permitted between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Parking in the Waterloo Town Square lots is time controlled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays with two-hour free parking permitted during this time frame. Parking outside these hours and on weekends is free and is not time controlled. But parking is always prohibited there between 2:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. Time-controlled parking encourages parking turnover by short-term customers and opens up space for newly arriving patrons. Long-term paid parking is available in the centrally located UpTown Waterloo Parkade for people who will be staying for a longer visit.
