Since he moved to Montreal in 1982, Rémi Bolduc established himself as one of the major jazz figures in the country. He was invited to teach at the prestigious Banff Center by Kenny Werner with whom he recorded the CD: Tchat. While his CD Tribute to Charlie Parker won a Felix for the best jazz album of Quebec in 2011, he continues to initiate projects and recordings with players such as Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Young, Ari Hoenig, Baptiste Trotignon and Phil Dwyer to name a few. He just recorded his new CD Tribute to Dave Brubeck and had amazing reviews for this recording. Rémi is professor and Area Chair at the jazz department at McGill University Montreal, Canada.
